This is my report lodge to SSM with regards to my wedding photographer. The SSM responded to this and said that they are taking action to the company.. My main intention is to let people know and to share my experience with all the bride and groom to be.. All the best with your photographer.

Complaint: Failed to deliver a good service and mislead the client.
I knew about this company via their facebook account as per link https://www.facebook.com/MinistryOfConceptualArts I decided to booked them as my photographer for the following events 1) solemnization (21 Jan 12) 2) Henna night (21 Jan 12) 3)Reception (22 Jan 12) 4) Reception in JB (5 Feb 12). In a meeting held at Restoran Jejantas Sg. Buloh between them and me and my fiance, the agrees fees was RM2400 and comes with 1 photobook, 1 storybook, 1 frame and all the softcopy. On that day, I paid the first deposit (RM480).
On the day (22/1/12), they were 3 of them. Unfortunately, seems like only the 2 of them were doing the work while the other person was observing. During my reception, they were 4 of them. unfortunately again, they were like glued to each other. There were times when I would ask people to look for them and to photographed me. I requested at least, 1 person would be following me and the rest (3 of them) to cover the whole ceremony.
After my reception(22/1/12), we went for outdoor session in Putrajaya. Out of nowhere, the Principal of the company , Mr. Ridzuan bin Mohamad snapped and scolded us (me, my husband and my aunties who were escorting us). He claimed that we were interrupting with their work and did not let them do their works. He kept on shouting and pointing fingers to my aunt regardless how many time she apologized though it was clearly not our fault. It was very offensive. In my opinion, as a client,I did not pay to get that kind of act. He was shouting, yelling and kept repeating ' Awak photographer ke, saya photographer??!' Who in the right mind would do something like that. It was public humiliation. Despite that, we continue the session with a very uneasy feeling. It was hard to smile n front of a camera when you just got scold and humiliated.
However, we managed to pull it off and finished the session. As my other reception (5/2/2012)coming, it was a week before the day, the principal sms and asked me whetherI want to continue with their services. quote" Puan masih ingin meneruskan perkhidmatan kami atau tidak, jika mahu diteruskan kami mahukan kerjasama dari pihak puan" I choose not to extend their services. So, they email me a letter, a notis penarikan diri dated 25 Jan 2012. They claimed to refund my money (RM432 out of RM1632 that I've paid) and all the soft copy.However, we have yet to received the refund and the softcopy.
In lieu to the notis penarikan diri, my husband has made a deal with the principal with regards to their commitment to submit a storybook and need not to refund the money. Several numbers of sms and phone calls has been made and the final outcome is that they will submit the storybook by 15 April 2012.
However, on 23/3/2012, one of the photographer claimed that they did not agree to making the storybook. They also claimed that there were no black and white between my husband and their principal on the agreed date (15/4/12). As such, we feel that we have been cheated and conned by them. Apart from we have been scolded, humiliated in public, been given a very bad services and cheated.
Action expected from SSM: I would like SSM to take appropriate action on them. They are supposed to be responsible in their works. It's either they refund my money and give me all the soft copy or they submit the promised storybook. This matter has prolong from January. I feel that they are playing games and delaying their works and causing us a lot of stress. Not only we had to find replacement photographer in a week time, we also have to wait 2-3 months for them to take action.
On 14 April 2012, we got the refund money and on the 16 April 2012, we received the pictures in a 4gb pendrive!!! and the size of the photos all together is 1.28gb!! WTH??? for solemnization, henna nite, reception and outdoor using so called super big camera and the photos sum up to be only 1.28 GB???
And the worst thing is, the only photo of my family was a candid photo!!!!! none of the family member were actually focusing to the camera! It's just a disaster! I did not pay RM1200 for something like this! They claimed to be professional and shit, if you are that pro, the photos wouldn't have came up that stupid and amateur.
Come to think about it, the family photo (which will be uploaded asap),was taken during the reception before our disaster outdoor event. This shows their skills were originally not that great after all.
