PIARC: not an engineering jargon, just an acronym!

Assalamualaikum wbt...

For the last 3 days I have been eating luxury food and enjoying the company of my colleague and my friends from the work field. A seminar on the Road & Highways: Optimising services for the customers organized by 'The World Road Association (PIARC) which is a non-political and non-profit making association' was held in The Royale Chulan Hotel from 25 April 2011 to 27 April 2011.

Basically the it was a conference where engineers and experts from all over the world presented their technical papers and shared their thoughts on how to make the roads, highways and the system runs smoothly and also to decreased the congestion level. Apparently, after listening and going through all the presentation, it is safe to say that Malaysia is not that behind in terms of technology. 

Among others, Multi Lane Free Flow(MLFF) is one of the system that shall take place in Malaysia by the end of this year. Basically, MLFF is the replacement for all the toll booths in Malaysia. This system has been been fully utilized in other countries such Australia and Greece. Look it up, you'll find it very fascinating. You do not have to queue to pay for the toll. The system will detect your device using microwave instead of infra-red which is been used rite now for smart tag. The idea is to avoid congestion at the toll plaza as it is right now.

On the last day of the conference, I went to a technical visit to PLUS and Proton Holdings Berhad. Little that I know, to produce a car you need RM650mils!!! OMG!!! huhu other than that, you need at least 2mins to produce a car..hehe cepat kan??? canggih gilerrr...hehe As promised by proton, by the mid of next year, there will be a new model coming out. Watch out for that la eh...especially for those yg nak saving.. coz, they said that the car will be using a different technology that is EV (Electronic Vehicle). 0% fuel consumption hokkey!!! hehe

Okla... that is all for today..Overall, the seminar/conference was a success.. there were good food, good ideas, good presentations and of course good company!!

Frustration............................

Assalamualaikum wbt........

Well...today is 23rd April 2011, usually gaji xkan masuk before every 25th. Weird as it is, gaji dah masuk! hmm.. last month all the staff was thrilled as the sum of our salary increased. Due to the arrears and stuff, we didnt manage to figure our the correct amount of the increased salary. Unfortunately, today i have gotten to know the numbers!!! and it sucks!!!!!!!! real time!!!

I have been in this company since i graduated, it has been almost 2 years already. At first, as a fresh grad..I'm more than happy to be working there as the salary was quite good. But, after all this time..a little token of appreciation wont hurt much rite??

Hmm... I guess that's just the way it is..It's very frustrating when all your friends flaunted their salary increment yearly not to mention their out of mind bonuses right in front of your face!!!! All that you can do is just accept it with the sweetest smile on your face.

Nuff said already!! I hate you!

Pameran Pengantin 2011 @ PWTC~~ Part 2

Assalamualaikum...

So, yesterday my fiance came over all the way from JB to Rawang especially for Pameran Pengantin 2011 ni! Whoaaaaa..... sanggupnyeeee dia kan?? Sigh! I wish!!!!!!! xde maknenye, dia dtg sini sebb nak hantar kereta kat adiknye yag bekerja di Shah Alam, pastu, singgahla my house sekali..hehe 

Well, we arrived at PWTC around 4pm, the parking spots were very limited, have to selit2 in between kereta lain..luckily I'm a gooood driver!! Side parking~~not a problem at all, hokkay!! hehe ape motif??? Ok, back to the story, we went there and the crowd were very crowding! hahah menyibukkk je dtg jugak! hehehe padahal dorg lg berhak dtg, atleast dorg dah ade tarikh..xmcm aku!huhu xpela, Malaysia ni aman, so, sukatilaaa! So, disebabkan i dah recce pameran tu ari jumaat lepas, then it was easy for me to find my ways around the pameran. I knew already which way to avoid and which booths to go!hehe 

Actually, my intention in forcing azwan to come to this pameran becoz, I wanted to book the wedding cards. The packages here were incredible!murah sgtttt...so, walaupun kitorg xde tarikh lg, kitorg dah tempah kad!!!! hahahahah tarikh tu nnt I tulis manually using pen kilometrico bermata 1.5mm je (wane itam)!! hehe 

So, i dah booked 1500 kads, for both sides. His and mine.. hopefully by July or August, I leh g kedai tu and settle everything... hmmm...another task was to find out on the photography packages that's in the market...mmg mahal la.....betolla org ckp, kalu nak kawen ni..duit tu mcm duit monopoly je...kalu xde, konsider bankrap..kalu ade, tp sikit, konsider miskin...huhuhu kawen pon mcm tu gak...kalu duit xckp, xlehla nak dpt ape yg best2 ni..kenala settle for the basics je..huhu tp i xnak basic je!!! i nak advance!!!huhu Oleh itu, both of us telah bersetuju, untuk tidak membazir wang lg selepas ini..hehe

Semua gaji masuk ASB!! hahaha hari2 mkn angin je! hehee if only people can survive like that la kan...xpela, based on yesterday's decision, yesterday shall be our last date at least until July 2011..hehe hopefully la...sebb kalu dia dtg sini pon, byk belanje..siannn dia! I ni plak, liat nak g JB tu..Alasan: jauhlaaaaa..... (T_T).. end up, dia yg dtg sini..hihi
